Happy Feet January 26 2014

When was the last time you serviced your feet?

We maintain our automobiles with a regular service and MOT once a year to make sure there safe to drive. What about our feet? Our poor feet that walk miles in whatever we put them in, they just soldier on....

So my suggestion is we diarise at least once a season to pamper our forgotten heroes. There are many treatments available in high street beauty salons, but I hear you ask what would be a good all round treatment?

Ladies don’t you worry I have been through the process of elimination for you...much to my pleasure I must add. I could not present to you my crème de la crème as I was torn in between a tug of war with my final two. I’ll let you judge which works best for you or simply you could alternate each treatment.

Jessica Pedicure

You could have a sensational ‘Jessica Pedicure’ choose from the following products energizing ginger, calming green tea or revitalizing citrus for this luxury foot and leg treatment. Your feet and legs will be massaged with deep conditioning creams leaving them softer and smoother. Your cuticles will be groomed and your toenails will be beautifully shaped and perfectly polished and most importantly any hard skin will be removed. If you feel like a little extra treat why not go for the deluxe treatment which has the luxurious added benefits of Thermal Heated Booties for deeper penetration of oils and creams. This is also perfect for increasing circulation and relieving stiff, painful joints.

Or how’s about an Aromatherapy foot massage and treatment? This intensive foot treatment nourishes and repairs the feet. To start with a foot soak, then exfoliation with an invigorating Aromatherapy salt scrub moving on to dry skin buff, cuticle work, nail treatment and an Aromatherapy massage to the feet and lower leg.

What is Aromatherapy? Well in a nut shell, it’s the practice of using natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being. The inhaled aroma from these "essential" oils is widely believed to stimulate brain function. Essential oils can also be absorbed through the skin, where they travel through the bloodstream and can promote whole-body healing.

In conclusion I have very happy feet, next service due in spring 2014.
